National games

In the past national games and competitions had been as the favorite entertainment on the land of Kyrgyz people. Every holiday was accompanied with them.

Ulak-tartysh or Kok-Boru – goatpulling. Two commands of 2-4 people in each struggle for carcass (skin) of goat. Winner is that one who often throws the carcass into the gates of an opponent.

Favorite kind of competitions – at-chabysh – rides. Usually they are conducted on long distances – 50 km. and more.  Those competitions were to test speed and robustness of horses. They had brought good prize for riders and the glory for horses.

Oodarysh – struggle of men on horsebacks. Winner was that participant who could overthrow an opponent from horse.

One of the interesting horse games was Kyz-Kuumai (bride chasing). Djigit (young man) has to reach a girl and kiss her. Otherwise she at the sight of everyone can beat him with scourge. It is very beautiful game: both dressed in bright national wearing, they ride as wind, and he tries to reach her with soldier like shouts…

Those games are still popular and favorable on the land of Kyrgyz people. Every guest of country may observe them and even participate in them.

All inclusive: eat and drink, all is paid?
Who does not love "freebie"? Perhaps, therefore we like to have a holiday with an all inclusive system. Having paid the cost of stay in a hotel with all conveniences you can spend a week or two without spending any dollar over the paid at home. This generates feeling of total “free-of-charge”. Is it all so simple and easy? Probably not, all inclusive appears to be diversified, and before dreaming about carefree holiday it is recommended to find out the details what is this "all" which is "included".
